Sheiling School Thornbury is seeking full time enthusiastic and committed Support Workers following the admission of a new residential pupil.

Qualification at NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or above preferred

Experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour is essential. This role is physically and emotionality demanding and requires resilience 

Working in small family housing groups within a friendly team

Salary £20,496.99 to £21,392.14 per annum

42.5 hours a week (including breaks), shift rotation, no nights

6.6 weeks paid holiday which include Bank Holidays

Affordable, onsite accommodation may be available if required

Temporary accommodation may be available to candidates re-locating

Start Date: ASAP

Sheiling School in Thornbury, South Glos is a residential Camphill (Rudolf Steiner) School for children with learning difficulties aged 6 to 19 and is part of Thornleigh Camphill Communities. Our beautiful grounds on the edge of the town encompass several residential houses for children and adults, a school building, indoor and outdoor craft workshops and a swimming pool.
