Opportunities are available across the following areas: Yorkshire and Humber, North East, West Midlands although we are keen to hear if you can offer in different areas

We are a national network of 64 primary, special and secondary academies. We are passionately committed to inspiring children and young people.

We firmly believe that all young people deserve to become world class learners - to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a world class educational environment, which has the best facilities, the best teaching and the most up to date resources available to them.

We are looking to appoint an Assessor(s) to assess Level 2 and Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning apprentices.  You will manage the delivery of individual Apprenticeship programmes including the planning and delivery of induction, learning and assessment, reviews and recording of progress ensuring timely achievement of qualifications.  You will visit apprentices every four weeks in their workplace.  The successful candidate will hold Level 3 qualification in relevant area of work and will hold CAVA, A1 or D32/D33 Award or be working towards this.  Experience of using Smart Assessor or a similar eportfolio system would be an advantage.

As the sponsor, AET believes that all young people deserve to become world-class learners – to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a first rate educational environment with the best facilities, the best teaching and the most up-to-date resources available to them.  In each of our academies, you will benefit from visionary, inspirational and dynamic leadership and be empowered to develop your own skills with access to world-class CPD and Talent Management programmes.  You will also be entitled to the following benefits: a health cash plan, vehicle affinity scheme, childcare vouchers and Westfield rewards.

The positions are required as soon as possible on a casual basis.

Closing date: Friday 17 November.  Interviews are available immediately so we would welcome early applications as applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive an overwhelming response.  All candidates are advised to refer to the job description and person specification before making an application.

AET was established in 2008 and is now a national network of 57 primary, secondary and special academies. We are proud of our diverse and inclusive network of schools which span nearly every region in the country.

This is a hugely exciting time to be joining the organisation, and as we pivot from being in turnaround mode to becoming a high performance organisation on the pathway to sustainable excellence. This will see us building our in-house education improvement capacity and expertise, making sure that our schools have all the support they need to deliver an excellent education for every child, every day.

Our people are our single greatest resource and we want to make sure we are creating the optimum environment and conditions so that everyone in AET can do their very best work. We will only deliver on our promise of excellence for all of our children if we attract, develop and retain the very best talent in the country and surround them with exceptional development throughout their careers.

We want people on our team who are excited by scale and the prospect of having a deep and lasting impact on the lives of tens of thousands of children. We also want people who are intellectually rigorous, stay curious, and generous enough to be committed to the messy challenge of collaboration.

AET has an exciting future ahead and by joining us on this journey, you will have an unparalleled opportunity to make a lasting and meaningful impact on the children and young people in our schools.
