Swimming Teacher - Dubai

Masterminds, Dubai’s leading early learning center, is recruiting for a Swimming Teacher. Swimming is a core part of the curriculum at Masterminds with all children participating in swimming lessons 2 – 3 times per week. Experience working with young children below 6 years is important for this role.

Essential Requirements  

• Spoken and Written Fluency in English 
• At least 3 years' experience in teaching Swimming
• Experience working with young children below 6 years of age 
• Flexibility to customize the swimming program for students 1 - 6 years  
• Open mindedness to learn new methodologies and activities as part of the Masterminds Physical Development Program 
• Persona should reflect the premium nature of the Masterminds brand    
• Exceptional relationship and communication skills    
• Essential to relate well to both children and adults and have strong communication and listening skills    
• Team working, flexibility and adaptability with sensitivity to the needs of children are critical to the requirement of this role    
• Highly organized    
• Good problem solving skills    
• Flexibility and creative thinking

Core Responsibilities  

• Developing and planning a structured swimming program with clear progression milestones between 1 - 6 years 
• Conducting small group and individual swimming lessons 
• Participate in the annual professional development cycle and demonstrate continuous commitment as a life-long learner   
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to all Centre matters at all times.
