Job overview

A two-form entry school in Great Barr are looking for a teaching assistant. The position is part time and would be cover 2 days a week. The start date is September 2019.

The role will entail, assisting teachers in delivering lessons, helping with lunchtime groups and occasionally helping on school trips. An assertive but friendly maner is required and willingness to follow the school’s strict behaviour policy is vital.  

The school is continually improving and expanding due to its popular location. The ideal TA will be flexible and hardworking. Being a team player in essential in order to work well with staff to nurture pupils who may be in comprised situations.
