The SEN team at Vision for Education are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant or Support worker with qualifications in British sign language for roles within Oldham to begin in September.
The provision is part of a multi-site academy that works with pupils with ASC, MLD/ PMLD/ SLD, physical disabilities and SEMH difficulties.

Essential experience includes:

  • Qualifications in British sign language (advanced level preferable)
  • Use of PECS/ Makaton
  • Work with young people in a care setting or alternative education provision

Desirable experience in:

  • Moving and Handling
  • Administering First Aid
  • Personal care
  • Team Teach
