Ings Primary School is looking to recruit two teachers who are committed to improving outcomes for every child by providing learning opportunities that challenge and inspire at all levels. We would welcome applicants from any stage in their careers.

This role involves contact with children and provides regular access to children, therefore it is  ‘regulated activity’. As such, this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act - 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.

Ings Primary School is a Community Primary co-educated day school catering for approximately 270 children, including a 26 place purpose built nursery. It is not affiliated to any religious denomination. The school has an early years admission policy and this allows us to admit pupils at the beginning of the school year in which they reach their 5th birthday. We also have a purpose built Nursery Unit. The Nursery, Foundation Stage and Year 1 children are accommodated in a single storey building. Children in Years 2,3,4,5 and 6 are in the double storey building.

Our recent Ofsted in October 2014 was judged as "Good". We are committed to the "Open Futures" approach.
