A vacancy has arisen for a permanent Additional Support for Learning Teacher at Langlands School, Dumfries working 17.5 hours per week.
As a secondary school, Langlands provides education for pupils aged 11 to 18 with severe and complex needs from Dumfries and Galloway. The Curriculum for Excellence is delivered by a team of Specialists with a wealth of experience.
A flexible approach to working with education partners ensures appropriate inclusion based on individual requirements.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
