Teacher Aid – Level 2 - St Thomas More College, SUNNYBANK We are seeking a Teacher Aide to undertake a diverse range of tasks within our secondary, co-educational College, which will be under the direct supervision of an academic staff member. The employee appointed to this position will demonstrate competency involving the application of knowledge and skills to appropriate student learning; either in groups or individually. The successful applicant will display proven communication and interpersonal skills; as well as an understanding the student learning environment. Tenure: Full time, Fixed Term for 12 months.

Weeks Worked:  School term weeks only - holidays unpaid

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):   12 months

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   6 hours each day, 30 hours each week.

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   Employee Assisting Student Learning Stream - Level 2

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
