Christ the King Catholic Primary School is located 20km north of Brisbane in the Bayside suburb of Deception Bay. The school has an increasing enrolment trend and currently has 330 students from Prep to Year 6.

We are seeking a Teacher Aide to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the teacher, in our Prep classroom. 

Duties include:

  • general classroom support (in the areas of/specialising in literacy),
  • preparation of resources,
  • using technology to support learning activities and
  • administrative duties. 

Ideally you will have:
  • previous experience as a Teacher Aide;
  • and/or hold a minimum Cert 3 in Educational Support;
  • proven communication and interpersonal skills;
  • and a willingness to work as part of a team.
  • You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful 
  • learning outcomes.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
