Temporary position to commence post January 2020 – or as soon as possible.  

Washington Academy is seeking to appoint an inspiring, energetic and dedicated individual to deliver to the high standards required by the Art and Technology departments of our Academy. The successful candidate will need drive, stamina and a creative intellect with the capacity to augment the continual development programme undertaken for the benefit of our students. We are looking for someone who will inspire and enthuse students, delivering an outstanding and enriched curriculum with the capability to further enhance outcomes at KS4. The successful candidate will join two busy and extremely enthusiastic departments. Washington Academy offers staff excellent resources in a state-of-the-art building, our staff are fully committed to helping our students gain the best possible progress.

We believe that by developing positive relationships within our Academy community, as well as with all stakeholders, we can more positively impact upon the education of the whole child. The successful candidate should subscribe to this belief and be prepared to move forward with us along our continuing improvement journey, thereby assisting the Academy to improve the life chances of the young people in our care.
