Brisbane Christian College invites applicants who have the ability to provide support to students with learning difficulties and identified disabilities so that they can more effectively engage in the learning opportunities provided.

Responsible to: Head of Enrichment and Learning Support, and the Deputy Principal

Position type:  Five days per week, term time (40 weeks per year).

Commencement date:  immediate start.

Specific Requirements, Qualifications, Certifications and Work-related Experience:

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills in order to support the Year 9 to Year 12 curriculum
  • Cert IV in Education Support and prior experience preferred
  • Demonstrated competence and confidence in using a computer/iPad and relevant software packages, e.g., Microsoft Office Package
  • Knowledge and prior use of the College Administration package (TASS) and the College Learning Management System (Schoolbox) would be an advantage although not essential.

The successful applicant will hold a current Blue Card for working with children issued by the Queensland Government and will be able to fully support the Christian ethos of the College.
