Are you excited about teaching, keen to make a difference and ambitious for your future career?  Would you like to work as part of a supportive and friendly team who are passionate about improving the life chances of all pupils?

If you’re an excellent teacher or NQT with drive and enthusiasm who hopes to become part of a professional and dedicated team, this could be the role for you.

Hayes Primary School has achieved outcomes that have been significantly above national for the last five years.  We have also received the Inclusion Quality Mark, NAACE computing mark and Music Mark.  This academic year the London Mayor also recognised the exceptional work of the school.
In our last staff survey 100% of staff said that they were proud of their school.  All staff reported that the leaders do all they can to improve teaching and that the school is well led and managed.  Our six core values (Respect, Resilience, Responsibility, Excellence, Compassion and Community) underpin the work of our friendly staff and our well planned, bespoke curriculum.

We have run our own in-house NQT programme for the last six years and provide middle leaders with opportunities to develop their skills across the trust and through National College courses.  We also have strong links with two teaching schools that provide our staff with excellent CPD opportunities.

After our recent successful Ofsted, the school has been identified as the music hub for the Spring Partnership Trust and we have exciting plans to build a specialist music building.  We are also currently developing our outdoor learning provision to offer children a range of educational experiences.  Interest in either of these areas would be desirable.

The Role (will include/require):

  • Full time class teaching responsibility with planned release each week to support assessment, planning and marking.
  • High expectations of behaviour and wellbeing of all pupils.
  • A supportive senior management team.
  • Planning collaboratively with two other experienced teachers in the year group.
  • Additional cover provided by specialist music and French teachers.
  • Opportunities for CPD including working with colleagues in the school, across the Trust and through Teaching School alliances.
  • Opportunities for action research and to develop practice as part of Lesson Study.

The Person (must):

  • Have QTS status.
  • Have a desire to professionally improve.
  • Want to work as part of a hardworking, dedicated and cohesive team.

The Spring Partnership strives to offer the very best education within our power to every child we can reach.  Our member schools are part of a family that shares its knowledge, expertise and resources to change children’s lives. You will be committed and passionate about raising standards and life chances for all children in an inclusive environment.
