This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed teacher wishing to locate to Wales and/or wishing to extend their professional development working as part of an excellent Foundation Phase team.

With 450 pupils on role, including a nursery, nurture class and specialist resource base and Place 2 Be team of counsellors, Windsor Clive offers excellent quality of experiences, care and support for all its pupils and parents. The school is known for its very welcoming ethos whilst parents are well supported the dedicated Parent Engagement Officer. The school is part of the Alliance of 10 schools for the Region for Closing the Deprivation Gap which recognises excellence in this area lead particularly well at Key Stage 2.

We are looking to appoint an experienced part-time teacher to be in charge of our large nursery working in partnership with an experienced team of teaching assistants and to form 0.6 of a job-share partnership. The successful candidate would need to be an excellent practitioner keen to embrace opportunities for professional development whilst undertaking this maternity cover. The Foundation Phase is very well led by its team leader who exemplifies excellent practice and leads training across the Region. The school fully supports school to school improvement which includes co-coaching within and across schools in the region.

The post commences in September, extending until the return of the post holder in the Summer Term, 2017. If you have a minimum of 3-4 years’ teaching experience in the Foundation Phase in Wales or Foundation Stage/KS1 in England 2, we would welcome your application.
