To be the main class teacher for a small group of KS3&4 mixed ability pupils within our nurture setting in Cheadle.


About you


We’re looking for a dedicated teacher with a passion for improving outcomes for students.


QTS status

A proven track record of excellent classroom management with a strong commitment to using proactive and therapeutic approaches to support students with their social and emotional growth

The ability to think on your feet and be flexible in your approach

Outstanding communication skills, including written and verbal interpersonal skills.

Experience of teaching in a primary model of education

Ashcroft is an independent day school and college is based in Stockport, Cheshire and in East Manchester. It’s one of the specialist education services provided by the charity the Together Trust. We cater for children and young people aged 8 to 19 years who have struggled to cope in other settings because of their individual barriers to learning. At Ashcroft we pride ourselves in working with each student offering a bespoke education package that really does meet their needs. We cater for pupils with complex emotional needs including ADHD and brain injuries.
