The Governors are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner to join our highly motivated and supportive team.

We require a teacher to lead our Discoverer students across all ages of the school, at present these students are split into 5 classes covering year 7 - 14. You will take specific responsibility and accountability for leading on, and the day-to-day management and organisation of the curriculum and pastoral support of the Discoverer Tier.

The Discoverer Coordinator may be a stand-alone role, or depending upon experience, may also include working as an outreach SENd specialist providing support to mainstream schools in the local district, utilising different learning strategies and teaching methods for a diverse range of abilities, de-escalate challenging behaviour, provide guidance to other staff and respond to referral requests for observations - writing reports with suggestions for the future.
