Teacher-Counsellor

The Ecole Internationale Bilingue-Etoile, a top-ranked secondary school in Paris which follows the French National curriculum, seeks a full-time Manager of University Counseling for international university destinations. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized guidance on international university applications, including 

-planning and organizing university visits, fairs, and other events;

-suggesting appropriate programs and establishing each students’ application list;

-optimizing dossiers, including advising students on personal statements and other written aspects of their applications 

-co-ordinating letters of recommendation; 

- providing administrative support on all aspects of applications. 

The successful candidate will be a person with vision, energy, and attention to detail who is comfortable working in a collaborative, culturally diverse, and fast-paced environment.

Profile:

-Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Native level capacity in English is a prerequisite for this position, and fluency in French is very strongly preferred. 

-Knowledge of international university applications, particularly in European anglophone countries including the UK, Canada, and the USA.

-Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

-Candidate must be authorized to work in France.
