Our Lady of the Southern Cross College, Dalby | P-12

Our Lady of the Southern Cross College (OLSCC) aspires to grow great people throughout the 13 years we formally educate our students, and the decades of connection thereafter. As a hub of our community, we take pride in developing the Learning Dispositions and Catholic Social Teachings of our students so they may excel in academia, spirituality, sport, and culture. Our OLSCC family is both welcoming and diverse, valuing the contribution that every staff member can bring to the table.  We maintain high standards and expectations to ensure that what we do, we do well. This aspiration for excellence is developing across many areas and it is an exciting time to join the OLSCC team to make a valued change for the young people and families in our care.

Our Lady of the Southern Cross College (OLSCC) in Dalby are looking forward to welcoming a Secondary Teacher in Mathematics and Science to their college community.

You will be working as a dedicated Physics, General Maths, Junior Science and Junior Maths teacher and you would be the specialist in that subject matter.

You will be part of a dynamic team who aims to ensure each individual develops academically, socially, culturally, physically and spiritually.

The College is large enough to offer choice and opportunities yet small enough to know every child by name.

OLSCC has over 90 dedicated staff where teachers are their own subject masters and curriculum leadership skills offer great pathways to middle leadership positions.

The OLSCC family is both welcoming and diverse, valuing the contribution that every staff member can bring to the table.

The College campus offers outstanding facilities which have been designed to allow for a wide range of activities while still providing places where everyone can come together as a whole college community.

It is this sense of community that sets the college apart from other schools.

It is an exciting time for you to join the OLSCC team to make a valued change for the young people and families in your care.

“I am so grateful for the OLSCC community and the amazing opportunities that have provided for me. I have been able to build Drama as a subject across the College, and even advance to Middle Leader of Culture, this year writing and directing my own musical! I have been able to do it all with the support of amazing teachers and colleagues. I wouldn’t swap my school for the world!”  Second Year Teacher and Middle Leader.

We are seeking applications from experienced and graduate teachers who want to join our welcoming and friendly community. Applications from pre-service teachers seeking a pathway to employment through permission to teach are welcomed.
