United Learning

Orchard Meadow Primary is part of United Learning, a large, and growing, group of schools aiming to offer a life changing education to children and young people across England.

Our schools work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could. Our subject specialists, our Group-wide intranet, our own curriculum and our online learning portal all help us share knowledge and resource, helping to simplify work processes and manage workloads for an improved work-life balance.

As a Group, we can reward our staff better: with good career opportunities, better pay, benefits, and ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children to succeed. We invest in our staff wellbeing. Our academies each have at least eight INSET days per year (with three of those solely dedicated to planning), and an ongoing group-wide wellbeing programme. It's an ethos we call ‘the best in everyone’.

The role

Are you an exceptional teacher with passion to create pace and change?

Do you have the desire to make a difference?

Are you ready for your next career stage and want to be developed as a new leader?

Do you have the drive to support high quality teaching and learning?

At Orchard Meadow Primary we are looking for teachers of Key Stage 1 and 2 that feel they are ready for their next stage of development. We want potential leaders of curriculum subject areas or teachers with the passion to become Master Teachers. You should have the drive for high quality teaching and learning and want to be part of creating change with pace and vision. There is potential to work across our schools for the right candidate. Alongside your teaching, the subject leadership will have a varied, dynamic role surrounding strategic planning and evaluation as well as its overall curriculum provision. If you wish to be developed as a Master of Teaching- then your role will include being developed as a coach and mentor with the vision to transform teaching and learning in our schools.  Candidates should be experienced teachers and will benefit from a supportive and ambitious Senior Leadership team and the opportunities that come with United Learning.

This role is full time, permanent - flexible and part time working applicants are encouraged

If you would like to visit the school, then please contact Lorna Graham on 01865 778609. Nominated School Visits: Friday 28th February.
