We are looking for an experienced classroom teacher of mathematics. This job is about more than teaching. It’s about turning around the lives of vulnerable learners. About TBAP 16-19 Academic AP Academy

TBAP 16-19 Academic AP Academy is a mixed school offering alternative provision to post-16 students, based in Fulham, south-west London. The school aims to provide opportunities for young people who would otherwise be unlikely or unable to achieve their full academic potential and gain access to higher education.

TBAP 16-19 Academic AP Academy opened in 2016 and is a member of the TBAP Multi Academy Trust. The school hopes to offer the International Baccalaureate to students in the near future.

TBAP 16-19 Academic AP Academy aims to deliver educational parity to students from challenging circumstances. In order to satisfy the needs of vulnerable young people, the school provides an innovative curriculum. Support and personalisation are also key, and staff offer individual guidance and mentoring, as well as after-school support sessions. 

Teachers are specially trained in maximising the potential of learners from alternative backgrounds and are sourced from the established network of the TBAP Multi Academy Trust. In order to best serve students with special requirements, the academy offers therapeutic interventions through music and art, as well as family support.
