Teaching ServiceKincumber High School is a coeducational, comprehensive secondary school proudly serving the Kincumber, Avoca Beach, Copacabana and Pretty Beach areas of the Central Coast. The school’s mission is to “achieve and excel” and our strong welfare programs support a friendly and inclusive student body. In 2021 the student population is 1007, including 47 students in the Student Support Unit. Support students are integrated across the school and make a considerable contribution to the social fabric of our school community. The school is also proud to have an Aboriginal enrolment of 52 students and we are a member of the Tjudibaring Aboriginal Education Consultative Group. Kincumber High School is pleased to be a member of the Kincumba Learning Community and together with our partner primary schools, Avoca Beach, Copacabana, Pretty Beach and Kincumber, who work collaboratively to provide a community of schools that value public education for all. Kincumber High School has a strong academic emphasis and a well-deserved reputation for sporting prowess. In addition, music, the visual and performing arts, community service and leadership programs are all vibrant and successful across all groups in the school. The Agriculture farm is also a vibrant part of the school and provides many opportunities for students to be involved in a range of shows and competitions with both cattle and poultry.
Approval to teach History 7-10, Modern History and Geography.

High level interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collegially with staff and build positive relationships with students and the wider community.
Demonstrated capacity to differentiate teaching and learning to improve educational outcomes for a diverse range of students.
Willingness to contribute to whole school programs and strategic directions.
