Job overview

I am working with a Pupil referral unit in Northampton who are looking for a full time General Cover Teacher. You do need QTS for this role or be an NQT and experience in teaching children with challenging behavior who have been excluded from a mainstream school.

Any of the below would be an advantage ; 


Youth/Community work experience

SEN experience

Residential support/care worker

Criminology, Psychology, Drama, Music  Degree

Sports coaching qualification or background

Team Teach/ SKIP,CPI, MAPA physical intervention training

Youth Offending Services

Supporting NEET

Challenging behaviour within an out of school setting

Mentoring

Teaching/Learning support Assistance/ numeracy and literacy support

Outgoing and fun personality   

We are currently with a primary SEN school who cater for students on the who have been excluded from mainstream school . Our schools are looking for confident individuals who are passionate about making a difference to the vulnerable young people in their setting. This is a full time role with the opportunity to be offered a permanent contract. This school has good transport links and the opportunity to work with a highly experienced senior leadership team.
