We are looking to recruit a highly creative and enthusiastic teacher of art to deliver on a wide range of programmes in the Art & Design, Photography and Media curriculum areas from level 1 - 3. An experienced practitioner who has the ability to deliver high quality teaching with innovation and passion through experimentation and creativity on the University of the Arts London UAL specifications would be preferred. The post is a 0.2 permanent position and there is an expectation that additional 0.2 hourly paid teaching complements the duties on this role. The post would suit a general art and design teacher who has experience in photography and drawing for concept art and animation. Some interior design delivery is also required but an hourly paid post could cover this.

Northampton College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college situated in Northamptonshire. It is a 16-plus institution with three campuses: a major building at its main Northampton site, a smaller campus near the town centre and another 20 miles away in Daventry. It provides places for around 9,000 students aged 16 and over, most of whom are full-time and aged 16-18.

Northampton College was opened in 1973. It merged with Daventry Tertiary College to expand its Daventry campus in August 2004, and its Booth Lane campus reopened after a large redevelopment in 2012.
