We are looking for a well qualified and motivated Teacher of English to lead the teaching and learning in Key Stage 4 English as part of our large and successful English Faculty in this high performing Church of England Academy, within the Bishop Ramsey Church of England Academies Trust.
A National Teaching School and SCITT, Bishop Ramsey Church of England School is a heavily oversubscribed 11-18 Anglican mixed Academy, with high academic standards as well as a tradition of pastoral care. We were recognised as “outstanding” by Ofsted in 2006 in all categories and were also judged “outstanding” in all categories in our SIAS Inspection in March 2013. We were also awarded the World Class Schools Quality Mark in 2015, one of only 27 schools in the country to have received this award. We have excellent facilities, with a fantastic £21 million building which opened in April 2009. We have a strong record of academic success: 51% A*-B grades at A level, 35% A*-A grades at GCSE with 77% 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths over the past 3 years.
