The School of Engineering is a large and extremely successful School, with outcomes consistently well above national benchmarks, and high levels of student satisfaction. The School offers BTEC Engineering Certificate, Diplomas, Apprenticeships and HE courses in Computer Aided Design. Following significant expansion and the construction of a new engineering and science innovation centre we are seeking to recruit an outstanding engineering tutor to join our team.

You will have successful 14-19 teaching experience in a Drawing or CAD related discipline ideally with experience of BTEC provision although successful school GCSE teachers should not be dissuaded from applying. The most important factor for any applicant is a proven record of outstanding teaching and learning together with highly developed interpersonal skills to influence others and continually make improvements.

Runshaw College first opened in 1974 as a small Sixth Form College with just 450 students. Almost fifty years later, we are now a hugely successful comprehensive Tertiary College with over 6000 learners, supported by over 650 staff.
