Teacher in Floristry

South Staffordshire College is looking to appoint a highly skilled, energetic, and enthusiastic teacher into a part time position within our successful floristry team. The successful candidate will prepare and deliver classes to learners across the floristry provision which covers a range of full and part time programmes from Level 1 through to Level 4. They will also take an active role in the development and growth of our floristry provision.

Experience within the floristry industry is essential. Familiarity with the requirements of awarding bodies in the education sector would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will hold or be willing to work towards a professional teaching qualification and have a genuine passion in and ability to deliver outstanding practical and theoretical floristry sessions. Applicants should ideally have qualifications in floristry to Level 4 or Level 5 and hold an assessors award (D32/3 or A unit) and a verifier qualification (D34 or V unit) or equivalents.
