South Staffordshire College require a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our excellent sports team. In addition to managing groups of learners, delivering and assessing our sport programmes; the successful applicant will also have duties relating to the development of our college sports teams and will be involved with many offsite projects and visits with both our sport and public service learners. The successful applicant will also take an active role in the learner recruitment process and in running promotional events and will be a key part of the development and delivery of new HE and PT programmes in Sport and related subjects such as Public Services.
Applicants must be qualified to at least degree level or equivalent, preferably with a teaching qualification and have relevant vocational experience.
The successful applicant will have or be willing to undertake a teacher training/assessor course and have relevant industrial experience in the sport sector. You will also have knowledge and confidence in dealing with a range of sport related subjects and have the ability to pass this knowledge on to our learners.

It now has four campuses located in Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock Chase and Rodbaston.
