Passion, Pace and Drive: The Next Opportunity for You!

  • Are you an exceptional teacher with passion to create pace and change?
  • Do you have the desire to make a difference?
  • Are you ready for your next career stage and want to be developed as a new leader?
  • Do you have the drive to support high quality teaching and learning?

At Windale Primary School, we are looking for a teacher to join us in September 2021, based in KS2. You may be early on in your career, or you may be more experienced. You should have the drive for high quality teaching and learning and want to be part of working in a school that sits at the heart of its community.

For the right candidate, there is the possibility of taking on the role of Maths Subject Leader (please indicate your interest on your application form in your personal statement). Alongside your teaching, subject leadership will provide a varied, dynamic role for you, including strategic planning and evaluation, as well as overall curriculum provision. Candidates should be excellent teachers and will benefit from a supportive and ambitious Senior Leadership Team and the opportunities that come with United Learning.

Windale Primary school is situated on the outskirts of Oxford City, within Blackbird Leys and Greater Leys. Your work will have the power to transform life opportunities where it is needed most.

We are looking for talented individuals who want to work within our fabulous staff team, transforming education for our amazing children.

You will need to be:

  • An excellent teacher with secure subject knowledge and be committed to on-going professional development.
  • Passionate in your practice.
  • Aspiring to be a future leader with pace, drive and clear potential to build a successful team as we grow.

Windale Primary School is part of United Learning, a large and growing group of schools aiming to offer a life-changing education to children and young people across England.

Our schools work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could. Our subject specialists, our Group-wide intranet, our own curriculum and our online learning portal all help us share knowledge and resource, helping to simplify work processes and manage workloads for an improved work-life balance.

As a Group, we can reward our staff better: with good career opportunities and training e.g., NPQS, better pay, additional benefits and ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children to succeed. We invest in our staff wellbeing. Our academies each have at least eight INSET days per year and an ongoing group-wide wellbeing programme. It is an ethos we call ‘the best in everyone’. United Rewards are provided covering lifestyle and retail benefits including childcare vouchers, car lease scheme, cycle to work etc.

Windale Primary School takes safeguarding children seriously. The successful applicant will have to undergo a DBS check and references will be required in line with our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.
