We have 10 teachers, a Head Teacher, an Acting Principal Teacher, 4 part time support staff and two administrative/clerical staff. The school benefits from brass and strings tuition which is provided from P5 to P7. The school runs a Breakfast Club and an Out Of School Club also runs from the premises before and after school as a let.

The school currently sits in decile 10 according to the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD). The free meal entitlement for P4-7 is 2%. The school has a very supportive parent body. Both the Parent Council and the PTA are actively involved in the life of the school and continue to offer a very high level of commitment and support, especially in the areas of fundraising and general parental communication and liaison.

Community links are strong and the school is valued for its open door culture. The school has an excellent relationship with the Cluster Schools and works in partnership with a range of community groups.
