We are looking for a class teacher to start in September 2017.  Depending on the successful applicant’s experience, you may be asked to teach in Early Years, Key Stage One or Key Stage Two

We are a creative and vibrant academy, constantly seeking to improve and develop our teaching and learning within the community. We are looking for an enthusiastic, conscientious, talented and caring person, with a professional approach to their work, to join the staff of our well established, active academy.

The successful candidate will help support our inclusive vision and help us to work to the next level of our success. These posts will suit either a newly qualified or more experienced primary teacher.

Green Lane Primary Academy is a successful school in the outer east side of Leeds in the community of Garforth and works in partnership with the Delta Academies Trust. The academy has a strong ethos with highly qualified and dedicated staff who believe in supporting the development of successful, well-rounded children who will become positive members of the community. 

We have a good academic track record and we have high expectations for all of our children in terms of progress and attainment. Local Area Information and Facilities:
Garforth Green Lane Primary School is situated in a residential area of Garforth, a small commuter town on the eastern rim of the city of Leeds. Leeds is only a short drive away and has a number of cosmopolitan bars and clubs, theatres, restaurants, historical attractions, sports facilities and shopping centres. It also boasts a number of large retail outlets.

Garforth is well served by transport links.
By road: The A1 and M1 are a short drive away, and have both recently been linked by an extension of the M1 which passes to the West and North of the town accessed nearby at Junctions 46 and 47.
By rail: There are 2 railway stations: Garforth and East Garforth, which are both on the mainline route between Leeds, York, and North Eastern England to Scotland, and also between Leeds, Selby and Hull and the East Yorkshire coastal resorts.
