Hunter Valley Grammar School is a leading independent and co-educational school located in the Hunter Valley, NSW.

We are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and adaptable Teacher Librarian to join an excellent team which is committed to the all-round development of primary and secondary-aged learners.

Successful applicants must have a Working with Children Check in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.

About Hunter Valley Grammar School

Hunter Valley Grammar School is a co-educational, non-denominational school situated in Ashtonfield, a suburb of Maitland, in the lower Hunter Region of NSW. The school opened in 1990 with an enrolment of only 110 students. Today, Hunter Valley Grammar caters to over 1000 students ranging from Pre-School to Year 12, and currently employs approximately 100 teaching staff.

Curriculum

Hunter Valley Grammar's curriculum is guided by the International Baccalaureate (IB) syllabus and covers all core disciplines as well as additional programs that helps engage students to understand the world around them through career-related education. Students can choose to be involved in a wide range of academic and co-curricular programs, including many sports, such as chess, academic competitions, craft, martial arts, school choir and band, Duke of Edinburgh and debating.
