Position Information 

Sydney Girls High School enrolment 937 students, including 80% students from a non-English speaking background, is an academically selective secondary school. Specific Selection Criteria 

Approval to teach secondary library or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.

Knowledge and experience in the operating systems of a school library to effectively provide a positive student learning centre.

Expertise in developing information literacy skills for students relevant to the Stages of learning.

Experience in collaborating with key staff to develop and promote quality digital resources across the curriculum.

Ability to manage the fair and equitable acquisition and deployment of financial and physical resources.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
