We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher Librarian who is willing to support and continue to build effective library, information and digital literacy services within our school. The successful applicant will display excellent communication and interpersonal skills; display an understanding of the work of a library or resource centre with experience and knowledge in the use of technology. The successful applicant must be reliable, flexible and committed to building positive relationships with staff, students and parents and be able to work collaboratively within a teaching team focussed on a contemporary approach to learning. Experience in the use of the Oliver Library System is desirable.

Trinity College is a co-educational Catholic College with a current enrolment of 810 students from Years 7 – 12. The College is administered by the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane through the Brisbane Catholic Education Office and is a member of Marist Schools of Australia. To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
  • hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
