Selection Criteria:
- Accreditation to teach RE in the Wagga Wagga Diocese and a commitment to the Catholic Faith or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to build positive relationships with Parish, staff, parents, students and the wider Henschke community.
- An effective classroom practitioner with a sound knowledge of the curriculum and contemporary pedagogy.
- Evidence of effectively integrating technology into teaching and learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively and willingness to contribute to a professional learning community.
- Ability to incorporate appropriate behaviour management strategies.
- Experience in working in a collaborative teaching team is an advantage.

Henschke Primary School is a mixed, non-selective, Roman Catholic, independent school in New South Wales, serving students from the age of 3-11. The primary school is situated in Wagga Wagga and has approximately 580 pupils on record.

Curriculum
Henschke Primary School offers a broad and balanced learning curriculum designed to inspire students and their intellectual, social, physical and emotional development. The school has seven core learning areas – religion English, maths, science and technology, human society, personal development, health and physical education, and creative and practical arts. During the year, students have the opportunity to take part in a range of sporting events and competitions with other schools in the local area. Specialist help is available for pupils identified with learning needs, which includes support teachers in class.
