Part Time - 22.2 hours per week.


WHAT WE DO 

We are based at our new Campus at Quarry Hill and are part of the School of Health, Science & Social Care. The team support learners studying Health, Science & Social Care to develop their Maths skills and progress. We are looking for an experienced, innovative and passionate Maths teacher who can deliver GCSE and Functional Skills to both 16-18 and adult learners. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have experience of motivating learners in Maths in order to achieve and progress in their desired career.


WHAT YOU WILL DO


This role involves designing and delivering innovative and engaging Maths sessions to both 16-18 and adult learners of varying ability.  You will work closely with the Course Leader of Maths to meet the requirements of the qualifications.  You will also work closely with the Study Support coaches to identify learners who need extra support and small group support. 


YOUR PROFILE 


The ideal candidate will have a recognised teaching qualification and experience of delivering maths GCSE & Functional Skills in an FE setting.  You will have experience of setting targets for students and have strategies and the skills to help students achieve their potential.  Enthusiasm and resilience are important.
