Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Music 7-12. Approval to deliver VET - Entertainment Industry,or meet the requirements as indicated in the special notes (see below).
Skills and/or experience to work collaboratively with colleagues to showcase student work at events both inside and outside the school, including school musicals.
Demonstrated knowledge and capacity to deliver high quality teaching practices that cater for the learning of all students, and this would include the use of 21st century skills.
Demonstrated highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to work as a dynamic team member in a faculty.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.

Teachers from all key learning areas with recent, relevant industry experience and/or qualifications can seek entry to the VET Entertainment Industry teacher training program through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Applications must be supported by primary documented evidence of recent relevant experience and/or qualifications mapped against the competencies to be delivered in schools. Applications for RPL is made to and reviewed only by the Application Review Commitee (ARC).
