Fife Council is looking to recruit a talented and committed teacher who is willing to apply new learning with enthusiasm.  They should be confident and able to demonstrate they are an innovative practitioner.  They should have a sound and detailed knowledge and understanding of the relevant aspects of the Curriculum for Excellence 3-18 as well as possessing strong interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate they have a commitment to the vision, values and core priorities in the development of education, teaching and learning which meets the needs of all pupils.

Beath High School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Scotland, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Fife has approximately 1,200 students on record. It is run by Fife Council. 

Formerly Beath Higher Grade School, Beath High School opened in 1910.

It is important to the school that open and honest partnerships are formed between staff and parents, allowing for students receive the best possible support both at school and during their home life, and parents are encouraged to get involved with the running of the school by joining the Parent Council. Students are nurtured as polite, caring, determined and ambitious young adults, who are fully prepared for life in a modern and ever changing world when leaving the school.
