Job overview

We are currently looking for a Teacher of Music to join our Junior School Leidschenveen (JSL) in The Hague from the end of February 2020. This is a part-time position of 60% FTE (3 days per week) for the period of one year to cover a maternity leave.

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status and ideally have knowledge of the English National Curriculum. The successful candidate will be teaching students from Foundation Stage up to Year 2 and supporting the Junior school choirs in Key Stage 2. Ability to teach basic violin skills would be desirable but not essential.

The Music Department has a tradition of being a vibrant and successful part of the school with regular performances taking place throughout the year. JSL is fully equipped with 3 music rooms and you will join 2 other Music Teachers in a lively and collaborative environment.
