Teacher of A-level Computer Science

The Head of Cardiff Sixth Form College invites applications for the post of teacher of Computer Science. The Teacher of Computer Science will join the existing Computer Science teaching staff to provide teaching of the highest standard that inspires our able and ambitious students to love the subject and achieve mastery in the A-level examinations. The teaching of Computer Science takes place in a fully supported ICT suite within the college.

The role is offered on a full or part time basis. A full time appointee may be asked to assist with the teaching of A-level Mathematics in the 2023-23 academic year depending on the number of students electing to study Computer Science. Alternatively, if the successful full time candidate is appointed as a Head of House, the timetable load is likely to be reduced from the full time expectation in order to give time for the Head of House duties, and to comprise only Computer Science teaching.
