Due to increased popularity and student numbers our Economics & Business Departments are expanding. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated teacher to teach A Level Economics & Business within our successful and supportive departments. You will have the skills and abilities to provide an outstanding student experience through teaching, learning and assessment, enabling students to maximise their potential. We are looking for an innovative and committed classroom practitioner who would work collaboratively with the team, the post holder will play a key role in inspiring students to engage with the subject material and to participate actively in lessons. As a committed and dedicated teacher, the post holder will contribute to all aspects of the curriculum, ensuring students benefit from a high-quality learning experience.
You will also contribute to the development of the existing enrichment programme currently including visits, academic tutoring and peer coaching.
We would welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates, candidates who have taught related subjects, Early Career Teachers and candidates interested in full time, part time or job share.
· Salary: Sixth Form Colleges Teachers pay scale £32,178-£49,725 (FTE) Depending on experience
· Contract: Permanent
· Hours: Full time or part time
· Start Date: 26th August 2025

Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College situated in Taunton, the County town of Somerset. Huish prides itself on its academic excellence and strong reputation across Somerset and the Southwest, it is more than a Sixth Form College, it is a place where students can expand their horizons and develop their futures.
