About the role:

We are looking to recruit an experienced teacher of A level Economics to cover at least 15 months Maternity cover from 10th October 2020 – 15th January 2024 (Fixed Term, Full Time contract) within our Humanities and Business Department. The role itself will include planning the programme of delivery, creating resources and monitoring student performance. This role will be starting 10th October 2022.

About you:

The successful candidate will have had experience of delivering A level Economics with a good track record of success. Evidence of the ability to plan and deliver such a programme will be essential. All full-time teaching staff are also involved in the tutorial programme so experience of supporting and guiding students throughout their studies and to assist them to progress towards HE or apprenticeships is desirable.

About the Sixth Form College:

The Sixth Form College at Angel Islington is a major and popular London sixth form college, offering a huge range of A Level subjects to approximately 2000 students a year from across the city. The SFC offers around 40 A Level subjects, one of the largest choices in the UK, with specialist facilities such as a performing arts studio, fashion and textiles workshops, electronics and science classrooms and music recording studios.
