Teacher of A level Maths / A level Computer Science

0.4 - 1.0 FTE, depending on the subjects the candidate can offer

The Academy would like to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced A level Maths / A level Computer Science Teacher to join the Academy from 1 September 2016, or as soon as possible thereafter (although no later than January 2017).  It is desirable that candidates have previous experience of teaching Maths and/or a Computer Science to A level, although NQTs are welcome to apply for this post.  A trainee who is willing to acquire a recognised teaching qualification once appointed may also be considered and appropriate support will be given. 

A candidate who can offer Computer Science only will be considered for a 0.4 role, whereas a candidate who can offer Maths only may be considered for 0.4 - 0.8 FTE. A candidate who can offer both subjects will be considered for any FTE, up to Full Time, depending on the preferences of the Academy.

The role is permanent, but can be a one-year fixed term temporary contract, if preferred.
