The above appointment will be made on the Sixth Form Colleges Association teachers’ pay scale points 1 to 9 up to £41,732. Candidates must be able to show a clear commitment to delivering quality teaching to inspire students of all abilities to reach their full potential.

Aquinas College is a Roman Catholic denomination, co-educational sixth form facility in Stockport, Greater Manchester. As of the most recent inspection, there were 1,909 full-time students on the school roll, and 625 part-time students. The college is under the trusteeship of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Shrewsbury, and is named for the 13th century philosopher and theologian, Saint Thomas Aquinas. The town of Stockport has a population of 136,000, and is located 7 miles southeast of central Manchester.
