Teacher of Art & Design (ref TH1901)

The Academy has a vacancy for an excellent teacher who will be welcomed in to an enthusiastic team of teachers. The successful candidate will be determined to make a significant difference to the standards of teaching and learning in this crucial area of the curriculum.

Art and Design at Thornaby Academy is taught as part of the Curriculum at key stage 3 and as a popular option subject at key stage 4. Students in key stage 4 follow the AQA exam specification. We are seeking an individual who not only has a proven track record in the classroom, but who is committed to improving the life chances of the young people who attend the Academy.

Salary: Teachers Main Scale or UPS 

Start Date: Easter 2019 

Contract Type: Full Time – fixed term contract to 31st December 2019

Closing Date: 9am on Monday 4th February 2019
