Teacher of Art and Design

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Art and Design Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local secondary schools in the South Shields area. This is a long term position starting in September 2019 until the end of the academic year 2020. 

The desired Art and Design Teacher will be working in a strong and supportive department, teaching pupils with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers. The teacher must have experience of teaching both Art and Design technology as the teacher will cover engineering, art, woodwork and product design.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Art and Design Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching secondary education at Key Stage 4 level.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of secondary Teachers.
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons. 
• Have experience of teaching Art and Design technology
