Job overview

We are looking to recruit an NQT who is a creative and enthusiastic Art and Design Technology Teacher on a full-time, permanent basis, to support our students at all Key Stages. Art and Design at Campion is taught by a talented team of subject specialists including art, fine art, textiles, graphics and photography, with a range of experience, who plan collaboratively and share a commitment to the continuing development of their subject knowledge. The post is open to NQTs only.

You must be:

  • A UK Qualified teacher who is able to inspire students
  • A Qualified Teacher Status with a degree
  •  A team player who is able to work collaboratively with others
  • Committed to outstanding standards in all areas and willing to lead by example
  • Passionate about your specialism and willing to share skills and expertise

Campion School in Bugbrooke, Near Northampton, is a co-educational secondary school. It became a Language College in September 1997 and an academy in 2011.

The school adopts the latest teaching pedagogy and staff engage in an internal teaching and learning development programme called “XL” (Leading to Excellent Teaching).  A continual evaluation cycle measures the effectiveness of Campion School’s work and identifies the next steps to be taken to ensure continuous improvement in all areas of teaching and learning.

To ensure that all students in the sixth form are challenged an motivated, the latest equipment for interactive lessons is utilised.
