Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,000 full-time 16-19 year old students. We are presently seeking an exceptional teacher for A level Art and Design and vocational (UALab courses) in Art and Design. Experience of having taught A Level Fine Art is desirable. You will make a significant contribution to our outstanding Art and Design programme area. The college has achieved the Gold Artsmark award and our Art and Design department provides high quality resources, and an excellent learning environment for our students.

You should be suitably qualified to teach within a sixth form college. In addition, you should have excellent communication skills and a track record of sustained improvement leading to a positive impact on students’ progress. As an inspirational teacher you will be committed to student-centred learning, and to raising the attainment and aspirations of our students.
