St Mary’s College is a Roman Catholic Sixth Form College with approximately 900 full time students aged 16-19 and over 400 adult learners. 

The College was founded by the Marist Fathers who remain the Trustees. It is a Catholic College but we celebrate our inclusivity and welcome students and staff from all backgrounds and faiths. The success of the College is clear to see not only in the achievements of our students, but also in the developing campus. We can claim to provide education from ‘the cradle to the grave’ having nursery and adult provision with no upper age limit! Our core business remains the 16-19 provision of a wide range of curriculum subjects offered at Levels 1, 2 and 3, Essential Skills out in the local community and in the provision of a variety of undergraduate programmes linked with Liverpool Hope University and UCLAN.

TEACHER OF ART

This is a 0.6 FTE position and the successful candidate should be experienced in delivering Graphics A Level and Digital Photography A Level. This is a temporary contract, in the first instance, for one academic year.

The salary will be paid at the appropriate point up to £37,378 per annum.

St Mary's College is a further education college based in Blackburn. It is a Roman Catholic college.

The college offers A Level and vocational programmes that allow learners to tailor a personal programme to fit their talents and interests. It also has in-house student guidance staff who offer advice and support for all learners’ key decisions about higher education or employment.

Over the past few years, St Mary's College has spent over £13 million on developing what it considers to be a 21st century campus. All the college’s teaching and sports facilities are on-site.
