Teacher of Art
An opportunity has arisen within Wilmslow High School’s highly successful, well-organised and forward-thinking art team. The post is to cover a temporary staffing situation and will last until 31st August 2018. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team member who has the knowledge and skills required to support and develop the team’s performance, teaching art at KS3, KS4 and possibly KS5.
The successful candidate will:
· be a professional and enthusiastic teacher
· have the ability to teach art at GCSE level, and desirably at A level
· contribute to the sense of excitement about art that our community has
· have a knowledge of, and willingness to take responsibility for promoting, high standards of literacy, articulacy and the correct use of standard English, whatever the teacher's specialist subject

Wilmslow, a pleasant commuter town with a population of about 32,000, is situated on the southern outskirts of Manchester.
