Values and vision

Aldenham School aims to add value to the pupil’s achievement both in statistical terms and in experiential terms. The school sets pupils customised target grades which it believes will allow them to focus on exceeding their potentia.

The school’s educational programme is based on four key pillars: its academic programme; its sport; its activities; and its house system. Aldenham believes that sport and physical exercise play a critical role in the development of students.

The school’s motto is: “In God is all our trust.”

ISI report

“The overall achievement of pupils throughout the school is excellent. Pupils develop well in knowledge, skills and understanding across all subject areas and some achieve excellent standards, particularly in the EYFS, the prep school and the sixth form.”

“Senior school pupils achieve at outstanding levels in activities. Pupils make good progress, and some, including those pupils with SEND or EAL make rapid progress although that of the gifted and talented is not as marked when teaching provides insufficient challenge.”
