The Academy of St Francis of Assisi is an Academy with Christian Values and environmental sustainability at its heart. Founded in 2005, it has grown to become an Academy renowned for its cultural diversity and its unique building design.

We are a joint foundation of the Anglican and Catholic Dioceses of Liverpool serving the wider communities of Kensington, Fairfield and Tuebrook.

Our students are at the heart of all we do and we are looking for an outstanding practitioner to continue the drive to improve the quality of teaching and learning in Art because we believe our students deserve the very best.

About The Academy of St Francis of Assisi

The Academy of St Francis of Assisi is an 11 – 16 Academy with900 students on role.  It is a joint foundation of the Anglican and Catholic Dioceses of Liverpool and is situated in the grounds of Newsham Park in Kensington, Liverpool.

The Academy:

  • is judged as outstanding in all areas as a Church school by the Diocese and Archdiocese of Liverpool
  • is judged as a good school with outstanding and exceptional features and recognised by Ofsted for good practice in its specialism of sustainability and the environment
